Sharp MX - Printer Setup to Mac

Download the Sharp Copier Driver

  1. Visit the drivers tab on copierrental.com. Select your copier model, and it will redirect you to Sharp's official driver website.

  2. To determine your Mac's operating system, click the Apple icon in the top-left corner and select "About This Mac." Note your operating system version and choose the corresponding option on the driver download page.

  3. Click "Download" to save the driver file. Remember where it is saved for the installation process.

Install the Sharp Driver on Your Mac 4. Open the downloaded file. Navigate to the yellow folder, then click "Install."

  1. Click "Continue" and "Agree" to proceed with the installation.

  2. Click "Install." You may be prompted to enter your system password.

  3. Once installation is complete, click "Close" and move the installer to the trash.

Add the Sharp Printer to Your Mac 8. Open System Settings on your Mac.

  1. Select "Printers & Scanners" and click the + (plus) button to add a new printer.

  2. If your printer is on the same network, it should appear in the list. Select it from the list.

  3. Under "Use," ensure you select the correct printer driver (the name of the driver you installed).

  4. Click "Add" to complete the setup.
